The Student Liaison Program has met three times in the 2013 – 2014 academic year. If you are a student, speak to your school administrator about having your school become a NASH School Member. If you are running a school, sign up to become a NASH School Member through this website. The following dates and topics are still upcoming:
Feb 17, 2014 – Renita Herrmann, RSHom(NA), CCH and Kathleen Scheible, CCH will be our speakers in February talking about opportunities after school, their experiences and what they have done.
Kathleen Scheible, CCH started the Bay Area Homeopathy Association as a 2nd year
student for a class project; it has grown to become a quality of care study
group and now a forum for peer case presentation seminars.
Renita Herrmann, RSHom(NA), CCH started seeing people at a VA homeless shelter in San Francisco. This location has turned into a clinic that can provide experience for new homeopaths of for anyone interested in seeing homeopathy in action.
March 17, 2014 – Dr. Robert Melo from Ohm Pharma (who is on a committee with HPUS) will discuss the the guidelines and legalities of homeopathic remedies in this country as per HPUS and FDA. The more we are all aware of this the better we can prepare and take the necessary steps to build a strong foundation for the future growth of homeopathy in this country. The availability of compliant remedies is fundamental for our profession.
