Message from your Executive Director
It’s been a while since we have brought you an update but rest assured that your board has been meeting regularly as always and continues to work very hard for the homeopathic profession and for you. There is quite a lot of “behind-the-scenes” work that goes on and if you are interested to know more about this, let us know. We could really use the help. I will miss seeing you at the conference this year but I’m just an email or phone call away as always.
Wishing you health and happiness,

The American Homeopath Volume 18
The April 30th deadline for articles for
The American Homeopath journal is fast approaching. The Editor would like to encourage all those who have something of value to share with the homeopathic community to consider submitting an article. Articles can be on a variety of subjects: cured cases, materia medica insights, research findings, historical accounts or philosophical topics.
You do not have to be a member of NASH to submit articles, so please encourage your colleagues to consider sharing their wisdom with us! Contact Deborah Hayes at email@example.com for more information.
Debi would also like to call for volunteers to step forward and help with copy editing and proofreading:
“Get a sneak preview of this year’s journal! The Editor of American Homeopath is looking for volunteers to help with copy editing and proofreading this year’s issue. If you have a few hours to spare, have a good sense of the written word and are detail-oriented, we can use your help. Please contact Deborah Hayes at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.”
Just a reminder that if you have read a recent book on homeopathy that has reverberated with you, please consider writing a review, suitable for publication, and sending it to: Laura Sholtz at NASHBookReviewEditor@gmail.com

Insurance Definitions for Common Business & Personal Insurance Coverages
Available on our website is a list of some common types of insurance products that are available through different insurance companies. This list is not intended to represent all available coverages. Policies and coverages vary from company to company. Requirements and coverages may vary from state to state.
It is important to understand what the different policies cover. One should research and understand the coverage they need or require before purchasing any product. It is important to remember that insurance agents sell policies and may not understand what coverage is best suited for your needs. When in doubt it may be necessary to seek legal guidance to understand the differences between policies. This is provided for information only.
NASH does not recommend any type of policy, agent, or company.
For a detailed description of different types of insurance, please visit the our website.

Bill Pending in CA Legislature to Eliminate Philosophical Vaccine Exemptionvaccine
“Your rights to make informed independent vaccination choices for your family are under attack by forced vaccination proponents in California who want to profit from restricting your independent access to a personal belief exemption to mandatory vaccination. We need your timely help to contact California legislators to oppose Assembly Bill 2109.”
If you are interested in learning how to start a health freedom group in your state, let us know.
CHC – Council for Homeopathic Certification
Press Release from the CHC
Since 2006 the Council for Homeopathic Certification has provided the Fast Track Program to enable experienced homeopaths to reach certification more easily. As we move into the future as a profession, it has become apparent that there is a need for
CHC certification to reach national standards. To that end, we are applying to the National Commission for Certifying Agency (NCCA) to become the nationally accredited certifying organization for homeopathic practitioners in the United States. This will help bring homeopathy into the mainstream and better establish us as a profession.
NCCA requires that all certificates be awarded on the basis of standardized testing. Since the Fast Track Program does not require its applicants to pass an examination, it does not meet this criterion. As a result, the Fast Track Program will be discontinued as of December 31, 2012. All applications for the Fast Track option must be submitted by that date.
The CHC strongly encourages practicing homeopaths and teachers with at least five years of documented clinical practice to consider this option before it expires.
