Meet our Bi-National Liaison,
It is a great honor to be a part of NASH as my self-imposed purpose in life is to promote homeopathy. I started practicing in a very small town in Ontario, where there was a distinct lack of understanding for anything different. Not to be dissuaded I joined a few organizations and boards as well as travelling to three NCH conferences. When Ontario decided to regulate homeopathy, I volunteered for whatever I could to get it off the ground and am still actively involved in supervising registrants. When regulation occurred in 2015, I was already in the process of applying and received the number designation of 15027 or the fifteenth Registered homeopath in 2015. The numbers are over 500 and growing. The benefits seem to outweigh the negatives and the cost. I am also on the founding board of the National Association of Homeopaths [Canada] which when formed should not only unify our community but also bring some research dollars to homeopathy.
In response to a request from a regional associaton, NASH has developed a membership for state/province associations which allows for membership in NASH in addition to your region’s association. These associations can offer their members the NASH benefits for an Associate membership at a discounted rate. NASH feels that this connection to our states/provinces is a benefit both to NASH and to the regional associations. NASH gains members who are aware of the local issues impacting the profession and who can advise us to their needs while the regional association can offer dual membership with additional benefits. If you are a member of a regional association and would like more information, contact email@example.com.
The NASH Annual Member Meeting will be held Saturday at 6pm at the Joint Conference. If you are a NASH member and plan to attend the conference, please let us know.
