Membership levels – what are they?
The NASH Board would like to welcome –
Robert Field, RSHom(NA), C.T. Hom, A.P.H.(Nevada), CCH
as the NASH Vice President!
At the end of 2016, NASH sent a ballot to our Registered members for a vote to elect a new Vice President. The vote was unanimous for Robert. While he had aided us in the capacity of interim Board member during the later part of 2016, he officially has assumed the Vice President position as of January 1st. Please welcome him and, in addition to any of our other Board members, please feel free to contact him to volunteer your skills, offer your suggestions, share constructive criticism or ask us your questions.
Robert Field is the founder and Chancellor of Resonance School of Homeopathy. He discovered the Miracle of homeopathic medicine in1992; his life has not been the same since. With passionate interest he has studied the spiritual aspects of homeopathic healing.
Robert received a Certified Trained Homeopath certificate (C.T.Hom.) from ESSH School in 1996; a certificate from the North American Society of Homeopaths [R.S.Hom (NA)] in 1997 and in 2001 was licensed with the Nevada Homeopathic Medical Board as an Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy (A.P.H.). He has tested with the Council for Homeopathic Certification and received their CCH title.
In Jan 2001 he started teaching monthly classes and established the Resonance School of Homeopathy which has been growing and continuing ever since.
At the end of 2016, revised Bylaws were sent out for vote. All of the revisions suggested by the Board were accepted. Some of our members were able to thoroughly read through the document and helped to make additional grammatical/clarification edits – thank you to those who helped with that. And thank you to all of our Registered members who took the time to vote on this important document that guides us as an organization. It is worthy to reiterate some of the revisions as they may impact you in the future.
There were a number of revisions that had to do with defining different levels of membership. As you may know, in addition to Registered members (RSHom(NA)’s, we have Associate members and Student members.
Student members will be required in the future to supply documentation of their enrollment to be eligible for Student membership.
A new level of membership was added – this is the Retired Registered Member [RSHom(NA)] (Retired) – the criteria is as follows:
– has been a Registered member in good standing for at least 5 consecutive years
– is at least 65 years of age
– is no longer in full or part-time practice and is no longer taking new clients
– makes payment of a reduced fee of $150/year and no CEU’s will be required.
– if a Retired Registered member decides to return to full or part-time practice, accepting new clients, he/she will reinstate the normal Registered membership with written notice to NASH and submission of the full membership dues with one year’s worth of CEU’s.
There were many revisions made for the purpose of clarification – please click here to see all of the revisions that were adopted.
TheNASH Annual Member Meeting will be held Saturday at 6pm at the Joint Conference. If you are a NASH member and plan to attend the conference, please let us know.
