A new season. Celebrate spring.
No matter your location in the Northern Hemisphere, signs of spring are popping up all around. For those in a traditional school setting, the school year is starting to wind down. But since Homeopathy School International is an online distance learning program, students determine their own time frame for studying homeopathy. With over 15 years in Distance Education, HSI has developed an accelerated learning style. The program offers the opportunity to complete the hours required for CHC certification in an easily achievable time frame. Prompt personal feed-back on student assignments, on casework, and scheduling support give our students the convenience to move through the program efficiently and successfully.
HSI also accepts transfer students.

HSI Alumni Accomplishments:
Tracey Duncan, CPHom, HSI alumna, has been awarded the 2023 Advancing Nursing Leadership in Homeopathy Scholarship from the HNA (Homeopathic Nurses Association).
Tracey has been a RRT for 29 years and an RN for 9 years. She currently works part time as an RN for an oral and facial surgery center. She found homeopathy through her veterinarian. She shares, “I had never heard of homeopathy and was absolutely amazed by the curative results in my dog. He had skin allergies and allopathic medicine’s answer was prednisone. The side effects were so undesirable that I searched for an alternative.” She goes on to say “I already had the passion for helping others and this experience along with my personal journey as a client with my own homeopath led me to becoming a homeopathic practitioner.” Tracey graduated from Homeopathy School International in October 2022 with her CPHom. Motivated by her long standing passion to share and help, she assists others on their journey toward a sense of well-being, health and balance on all planes through classical homeopathy. Tracey’s goals include taking the CHC exam in April 2023, actively participating in making homeopathy a household word, becoming a catalyst for homeopathy in complementary medicine, and learning what her role will be in homeopathic research.
We congratulate Tracey for being recognized as a leader within the homeopathic nurses’ community! Find her at: www.upstatehomeopathy.com

Announcing a breakthrough in how homeopathy works! Many years of research have led to the conclusion that mitochondria are the key to understanding how the remedy interacts on the living body. It’s important for homeopaths to recognize that homeopathy is not a chemical reaction. Homeopathy operates on a deeper dimension than chemistry, and, mitochondria are the organelles that function on that deeper dimension. Live cell imaging has allowed us to see that mitochondria are not little beans floating in the cytoplasm but a dynamic interconnecting network, constantly creating new synapses. Our brain is modelled on their mode of functioning. Mitochondria are actually the brain of every cell! The mitochondria are constantly monitoring inner, intra, and extra cellular processes, our mental state, our perception of our environment, our projections, and anticipation. They process this information, then inform the cell nucleus what to do. The mitochondria are instrumental for homeostasis, allostasis, all aspects of fight or flight, adaptation and evolution. Mitochondria regulate the storage or burning of fat, the secretion of hormones, production of cytokines, cortisone, DHEA, the stress response, even the turning on or off of onco-genes and any and all the genes responsible for chronic disease.
Basically we can trace almost any chronic disease and even the effects of aging to the mitochondria. But what is of particular interest to us as Homeopaths is the dimension of life on which they function.
The quantum processes of the mitochondria are not chemical or physical. They are on a deeper and more fundamental dimension than the physical dimension. The immaterial dimension which some incorrectly refer to as energy. Energy is still in the material realm. What we are referring to is something that is deeper than both energy or matter, and involves light, as both the mediator and the context of the creation of both energy and matter. The chloroplasts of plants are the only thing we know of that have the ability to transform light into matter. Matter, that can then be transformed into energy and light by the mitochondria in living beings. The mitochondria could be the cousins of chloroplasts, they are so similar. What both mitochondria and chloroplasts do is the dance of E=mc2
Judyann’s conversation with Eugenie Kreuger in last month’s Homeopathy Hangout podcast spanned from the science of mitochondria to how our understanding of the many dimensions of consciousness lets us help others to restore health and wholeness. Film clips of live cell imaging and a full slide show has been integrated into the podcast. Click on this link to access the podcast and slideshow to get a full understanding. Next month, MICH will be announcing a certificate program for homeopaths who would want to learn about the MICH Noumedynamic approach based on this research.

Heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to Amy Rothenberg ND, DHANP– the recent recipient of the 2023 Julian Winston NCH Service Award, honoring a person who has contributed substantially to the National Center for Homeopathy in a voluntary capacity.

It’s Retreat Season at PHI
At the Prometheus Homeopathic Institute, we teach through spiral learning, growth mindset and play. We approach homeopathic philosophy, principles and materia medica with curiosity and wonder.
PHI is a hybrid program because being in person is essential to forming close bonds with classmates and colleagues. Each of the three years, we come together in April and October for a week of learning, challenge and play together.
This April, our theme was Spring Has Sprung. We learned about Insect, Plant and Animal remedies. In order to solidify our learning we play games, do skits and have group activities.
If you have ever considered a deep dive into homeopathy, consider the PHI. Our next class will begin January 2024 and we are already enrolling.
Come and play, learn, grow and heal with us.
