Program Description
We are North America’s longest running homeopathic college and the only Canadian College fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA), the gold-standard for North American homeopathic education. Our Diploma in Homeopathy and Health Sciences (available by distance education and in class) is recognized both by ACHENA and by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario which means that upon graduation, students are eligible to apply for registration as a professional Homeopath and to write the CHC exam.
Our program is a robust course which adheres to or exceeds the parameters for both the theoretical and clinical components as required by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario for registrants, and which emphasizes Health Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Physical Examination, and Nutrition), clinical proficiency, and the study of pure Hahnemannian Homeopathy. This is the truest and most time-tested method of homeopathy, the study of which sets you up to achieve the kind of extraordinary results in practice that our famous old Masters had. Our faculty is led by superb homeopaths with decades of experience in both teaching and practice, as well as naturopaths, and medical doctors, who are all experts in their respective health sciences.
The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) is proud to be North America’s longest-running and most widely accredited and approved homeopathic college. Our Diploma in Homeopathy and Health Sciences, delivered in a fully Live Online format, is recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA), the College of Homeopaths of Ontario (CHO), and the UK Society of Homeopaths under their International Recognition Scheme. This multi-jurisdictional recognition reflects the high academic and clinical standards upheld throughout our program.
Our comprehensive curriculum combines a strong foundation in classical Hahnemannian homeopathy with rigorous training in health sciences and clinical practice. Students are immersed in the core principles of homeopathy, including materia medica, repertory, case-taking, and therapeutics, while also developing essential competencies in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Holistic Nutrition, and Physical Examination. Health sciences are presented in a way that supports and integrates with homeopathic philosophy and individualized case analysis.
CCHM’s innovative clinical training model includes both internship and externship components. Students observe master homeopaths in practice and co-manage cases under expert guidance with one-on-one supervision. This two-part training emphasizes real-world clinical proficiency, case management, and practice establishment. Students follow cases through multiple appointments, developing the confidence and skill needed to reproduce reliable results in practice.
Our Live Online format features real-time lectures, interactive discussions, virtual clinics, and collaborative learning sessions from September to June each year. This structured, cohort-based experience offers the benefits of live instruction with the flexibility of distance education. Students with previous training in health sciences may be eligible for exemptions from certain courses, allowing for an accelerated pathway through the program.
At CCHM, we are committed to upholding the integrity of classical homeopathy while preparing students to meet the demands of modern clinical practice. Our graduates leave with the knowledge, confidence, and experience to build successful practices that truly help people—and to become part of the growing movement to restore health through individualized, holistic care.
