Biography

Arup Bhattacharya, RSHom(NA), Hom(ON), DHM, PhD has been a homeopathic practitioner, educator, tutor and mentor since 1992. He is currently based in Buffalo, NY where he has a busy practice that includes clients from North America and all over the world. He also sees patients in person in Richmond, VA. He deals with cases of chronic pain management, emotional stress disorders, different cancers and auto immune disorders. He has participated in multiple forums as an invited speaker, gives regular seminars on live case taking, follow-up and case management for advanced practitioners.

Despite having a very busy homeopathic practice, Arup continues assisting ongoing translational cancer research, earlier at one of the oldest NCI accredited prestigious comprehensive cancer center in WNY where he was also an advisor and steering committee member for Wellness and Integrative Medicine Center, and, since mid-Jun 2022 at Massey Cancer Center with the Office of Clinical Transformation. Arup is a registered full member of the College of Homeopaths in Ontario. He has a BSc in Microbiology, a MSc in Biophysics and MA in Psychology. He has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biophysics from SUNY at Buffalo, NY. He contributes articles regularly in peer reviewed journals such as in Nature Communications, Science Translational Medicine, EBioMedicine, Clinical Cancer Research and others.

The North American Society of Homeopaths directory is a listing of practitioners who have fulfilled the requirements for registration with this organization. Please note, however, that such a listing does not constitute an endorsement of any practitioner over another. Some practitioners in the homeopaths directory may also hold other credentials including licensure for various health care professions.

The NASH registration process includes verification of education and certification. Registration with NASH does not; however, denote a license to practice homeopathy. Statutory regulations vary in different states and provinces.
