Program Description
The longest-established program in North America, Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy (NAH) has 29 years of honing the optimal educational foundation for modern professional homeopaths. We are rooted in the fundamental principles of classical Homeopathy while applying leading-edge homeopathic thought to clinical practice.
Our broad-ranging faculty and diverse student population attends our synchronous (live, not recorded) lecture and discussion-based educational program either in-person or online (as they choose) from around the globe, creating close-knit personal and professional relationships that last a lifetime. Our alumni are some of homeopathy’s most notable leaders, teachers, thinkers and creatives. We cherish our ever-evolving legacy and each new student who forms it.
Our four-year, part-time, ACHENA-accredited program is both rigorous and rewarding. With over 650 live classroom, 700 live clinical, and 100+ research and special event hours, our 1400+ hour program truly prepares our graduates to sit for the Council of Homeopathic Certification exam (CCH credential) and step successfully into practice on Day One. All are also eligible to serve with our low-cost care partner, Homeopathic Community Care, alongside their private practice.
NAH accepts qualified transfer students seeking to round out previous learning with our renowned clinical training. We also provide advanced training to graduates of other programs. Our 72-hour self-paced Medical Sciences program is available as a standalone course to those seeking to fulfill CCH’s anatomy, physiology, pathology, terminology requirements.
Our part-time program is accessible regardless of life’s other demands and opportunities. We meet once a month over a three-day weekend plus two evenings a month, use state-of-the-art online educational tools, and offer annual awards from NAH’s generous scholarship fund. Come join our faculty, student, and alumni community – dive deep and transform – we are here to support you in bringing homeopathy to the world in the way that works for you.
