Biography
I, like other professional homeopaths, came to classical homeopathy because of my own experience with chronic illness. In my mid-twenties, after not making any progress with mainstream medicine, I discovered and fell in love with homeopathy. I was in a very desperate situation at that time with seemingly incurable ailments and classical homeopathy gave me a pathway forward – a handrail in the dark if you will. Since then, I’ve been an avid student.
I earned an M.A. degree in classical homeopathy from AUCM (American University of Complementary Medicine) and my certification from the CHC (Council for Homeopathic Certification) in 1999. I’ve been in private practice now for more than twenty-four years.
My background also includes a B.S. in electrical engineering from U.C. Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from UCLA. My love of math and science in my early years and my engineering degree give me insight into the underlying physics and quantum dynamics of how the mind-body-spirit system heals itself and how homeopathy can be used to support that process.
I’ve also been a student for many years of consciousness work – how homeopathic remedies can surface body memory and historical trauma and the many tools that can be used to support clients in processing through that type of mental and emotional material. Ultimately, I see homeopathy as a tool for regaining one’s physical health, but also for developing a greater sense of self, greater clarity, greater connection with a healthy god concept, and a greater capacity for healthy intimate relationships.
