You’re Invited!
To the NHFC & NHFA 20th Anniversary Celebration!
Via Zoom on August 25, 2021 at 7:00pm (CT)
Jerri Johnson, Leo Cashman and Diane Miller, co-founders of National Health Freedom Coalition and National Health Freedom Action!
After Minnesota’s Statute 146A, which went into effect July 1, 2001, first granted many Minnesota healing practitioners an exemption from the medical practice act, many people from around the country contacted Diane Miller, who had been active in the movement, for help in their states.
Diane and two colleagues, Leo Cashman and Jerri Johnson, cofounded National Health Freedom Coalition and then National health Freedom Action, to work nationally on health freedom issues. The mission included rights of healing practitioners to practice, and also vaccine exemption rights, right to refuse government or medical interventions that affect our bodies, and bringing together leading health organizations to promote collaboration in the health freedom movement.
Diane Miller, JD, Director of Law and Public Policy, has written a new book that tells about the beginning of that momentous movement. The book is Health Freedom, The Greatest Freedom of All.
Join them August 25th at 7pm CST to hear stories from NHFC and NHFA co-founders about their beginnings in working for health freedom, and their 20 years of work, continuing up to the present day!
You will be able to ask them questions, and meet other NHFC and NHFA leaders in the freedom movement.

Homeopaths Without Borders
Needs Your Help
|
|
Our homeopathic colleagues in Haiti are asking for help to support their communities. Conditions are very difficult from the recent 7.2 magnitude earthquake in the western town of Les Cayes and the recent assassination of their President. Learn more… |
|
HWB and our colleagues in Haiti are ready to
put your donations to work! Please donate to support:
Crisis Relief: Political upheaval! Kidnappings! Food shortages! Haitians, especially in rural and underserved areas, are at risk. HWB-trained homeopaths have seen the benefits of homeopathy for symptoms of shock, grief, anger, and injuries. Help our Haitian homeopaths expand their reach with a donation.
Medical Needs: Funding for homeopathic health care for pregnant and new mothers is crucial at this time, and not just in the capital. Increased political instability has brought increased violence, making the delivery of medical care less secure and in many areas risky. Purchasing fuel for vehicles is a huge challenge-gas now costs up to $11 a liter! HWB’s Haitian team cannot help if they can’t even put gas in their vehicles.
Mobile Clinic Expansion: The crisis in Haiti has only increased pressure on rural areas. Each mobile clinic team of 4-6 medically licensed practitioners and community practitioners typically serves an average 60 patients a day (10-20 patients each). That number has now escalated to each practitioners serving up to 30 patients in one day! Your support will help expand the reach of mobile homeopathic clinics. |

RSHom(NA) Showcase
This section of our newsletter highlights the work of our Registered Members.
Cash Casia Leo, DIHom, CCH, RSHom (NA) is a Nationally Board-Certified and Registered Classical Homeopathic Practitioner at The Remedy – her private practice in Mission, Texas.
Cash studied homeopathy with George Vithoulkas both through the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy’s (IACH) North American Program and in Greece. She is also alumni of The American Medical College of Homeopathy at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA). Cash graduated Summa Cum Laude from Everglades University with a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine and attended additional premedical prerequisites in medical sciences through Harvard University. She currently continues her doctoral studies at the National University of Natural Medicine. Prior to her premedical studies, Cash also received a degree in Medical Administration in Health and Wellness from the University of Phoenix.
Cash Casia Leo, DIHom, CCH, RSHom(NA) was the administrator for the IACH North American Practitioner Program for 5 years. During her time there, she also initiated and supervised what is now known as the IACH Internship Clinic to prepare students for future practice in a hands-on setting. Cash also wrote and taught part of the general curriculum for the North American program including Homeopathic History, Ethics & Jurisprudence, Business of Homeopathy, and First Aid & Acute Care) and was responsible for the establishment of IACH’s North American accreditation candidacy. During her time at IACH, she was commissioned by George Vithoulkas to write the modern English revision of his world-renowned homeopathic textbook “Levels of Health” – which was published in 2017. Levels of Health is known as the second volume of the Science of Homeopathy.
Cash’s most recent accomplishment was just this past month in July 2021 as she launched CHC PREP – a preparatory course for North American homeopathic students en route to becoming board certified classical homeopaths through the Council for Homeopathic Certification. The goal of CHC PREP is simply to enhance the preparation process of new graduates and offer an adequate toolbox for readiness and for successful outcomes on the Council for Homeopathic Certification Board Exam.
Cash Casia Leo, DIHom, CCH, RSHom (NA), and her associate professors at CHC PREP encourage all participants to become Registered Members of NASH and become active members of the homeopathic community in general. To support this sentiment, CHC PREP would like to offer a new benefit to NASH student members – a discount of $40 off of the cost of the CHC PREP course. To find out more about CHC PREP, please visit chcprep.com.
If you have published an article, written a book, volunteered using homeopathy or are speaking or teaching, we want to know! If you would like to appear in the RSHom(NA) Showcase or would like to have one of your colleagues featured, submit information to nashinfo@homeopathy.org.

Attention!
CEU Requirements for NASH Registered Members
All Registered members are required to complete 20 CEU’s for NASH at the time of your renewal. The CEU’s need to occur within the current membership year. CEU’s required for NASH do not carry over to the next year nor do they need to be from only ACHENA accredited schools. Documentation is becoming more and more important; keep track of what educational activities you participate in.
For a complete list of what can be used for CEU’s, click here. If you have questions about your continuing education, please email nashinfo@homeopathy.org.
NOTE: NASH webinars cannot be used towards NASH CEU’s as many have to do with business issues rather than clinical advancement.
