A notice from our friends at ACHENA:

Consider volunteering for ACHENA!
The mission of the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North American (ACHENA) is to promote excellence in the education of professional homeopaths. We have recently moved through a restructuring of its membership and leadership. We are deeply grateful to all ACHENA Commissioners and volunteers, past and present, for their tireless efforts in support of homeopathy education and ACHENA’s overarching mission.
While ACHENA’s leadership structure remains strong, we are still in need of support from our community. ACHENA needs several more commissioners, as well as volunteers and peer reviewers.
CALL for Volunteers!
Do you have an interest in developing your skills to help homeopathy schools and programs achieve accreditation? ACHENA provides volunteer training to promote educational excellence and leadership. Help ACHENA lead homeopathy education into the future!
Visit the ACHENA Commissioners Page and their Get Involved Page to learn about volunteering with ACHENA. Our volunteer application can be found on our website or click here. We look forward to hearing from you!

From our friends at NCH:

REMINDER!
JAHC IS STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO PRESENT.
April 22 – 24, 2022 • Reston, VA
Streamed live across the globe for virtual attendees!
Each year the Joint American Homeopathic Conference (JAHC) brings together the world’s premier homeopathic teachers and thinkers as presenters.
In addition to the invited, world renowned presenters, we seek to expand the types of learning opportunities at the conference by offering an annual Request for Proposals (RFP) to the larger homeopathic community.
The RFP process gives experienced professionals the chance to present their work at the most prestigious U.S. based homeopathy conference.
Share your knowledge and important work with the community:
- Applicants may propose 1-3 different topics within a single application. What are your current passions? We want to hear your ideas! Present on timely issues to fit our theme, “Homeopathy in the 21st Century”.
- Proposals should meet intermediate or advanced level presentations and content.
- Proposals representing a variety of content areas are welcome, such as theoretical, technical, clinical, research-based, practical, or business-related content areas.
- Presentations may be designed for one or more speakers.
- Presentations should be designed for a 1-hour time slot (includes time for Q & A).
This application is open to everyone! There are no prerequisites to apply.
JAHC 2022 is being planned to offer both in-person (Reston, VA) and virtual attendee ticket options. We are working to fill our in-person speaking opportunities first and then there will be a limited number of virtual presenter spots. If you are only available to present virtually, you will have a chance to indicate that within the application.
Questions? Contact us at info@homeopathycenter.org.
Deadline to apply is Friday, July 30, 2021.

Opportunities and Events in Homeopathic Education
The Academy of Homeopathy Education and HOHM Foundation continues to improve and grow its clinical training program. Exciting news!
Acute Care Internship Launched for AHE students and alumni
In conjunction with Homeopathy Help Now and the Homeopathy Help Network, AHE students and alumni have access to even more real-world, clinical experience with our new acute care internship. Under supervision, students are able to apply their acute care knowledge with real, time-sensitive cases, learn from each other and other experienced homeopaths, AND help the community with quality and timely homeopathic care.
Externship and Residency Opportunities to Launch this coming fall!
AHE also has added an extended mentorship and expanded supervision program that now includes externship and residency opportunities that allow for extended mentorship and cross-collaboration to build the next generation of leadership in Homeopathy.
Live Clinical Training
AHE is committed to live, real-time clinical training and emphasizes the hands-on skills necessary for safe and successful practice. AHE offers 50+ clinic days each year (more than 400 hours) meaning that every student has access to more than 1500 live, participatory hours of clinical training. Our externship program ensures that students graduate with a practice in place, and with the ongoing supervision needed to ensure success.
The support of HOHM Foundation makes it possible to offer these new initiatives without any increase in tuition!
Outcomes Based Research
AHE’s clinical program works in conjunction with the HOHM Office of Research to collect meaningful outcomes-based research. Help us to meet our goal of 5,000 acute cases/year with www.homeopathyhelpnow.com.
Our not-for-profit collects meaningful data from AHE/HHN initiatives with a goal of peer reviewed publications. Opening its doors in 2020, we’ve been busy with several projects and including two peer reviewed publications:
– Gray, A. C., Steel, A., & Adams, J. (2021). Complementary medicine students’ perceptions, perspectives and experiences of learning technologies. A survey conducted in the US and Australia. European Journal of Integrative Medicine. 2021 Jan 30:101304 https://doi.org/10.1016/j.eujim.2021.101304
– Gray, A. C., Steel, A., & Adams, J. (2020). Attitudes to and Uptake of Learning Technologies in Complementary Medicine Education: Results of an International Faculty Survey. The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine. https://doi.org/10.1089/acm.2019.0319
More publications are on the horizon:
- A five-month audit of the HHN clinic.
- Publication looking at the role of technologies in homoeopathic practice and education, specifically perceptions and experiences of using homoeopathic software.
- An examination of the first three years of clinical data collected from the AHE clinic. Other publications stemming from this research data include compliance of AHE students and the culture change in an educational institution, as well as a paper examining the efficacy of MYMOP as a measurement outcome tool in the AHE student clinic.
Available AHE Internship
AHE is looking for two on-site interns to work directly with the school managing the AHE antiquarian and research library as well as other projects. AHE is located in the NW corner of Philadelphia; housing options will be discussed, and full tuition (for either full time or part time) is included in the position. Contact us for more details admin@ahe.online.

– IACH NEWEST PUBLISHED PAPERS:
More exciting new publications from our IACH alumni and research team!
Appearance of Acute Inflammatory State Indicates Improvement in Atopic Dermatitis under Classical Homeopathy Treatment. Continuum theory proposes return of high fever as a sure sign of improvement in chronic inflammatory diseases under treatment, as efficient acute inflammation implies improvement in the chronic. In the 6 atopic dermatitis cases presented here, long remission after treatment was associated with return of acute inflammatory diseases/fever, absent since onset of AD.

The Prometheus Homeopathic Institute is expanding!
At PHI we are in the process of developing and launching our signature Intensi-PHI Program, a two year advanced program for recent graduates or practicing homeopaths who want to go beyond their current boundaries into a more joyful, abundant and expansive practical experience. One weekend per month and one study group session will be conducted virtually along with optional in-person retreats.
Following the launch of our Intensi-PHI Program, we will be welcoming new students into our SImpli-PHI Program. This program is our three year program offering new students the opportunity to explore homeopathy, materia medica, philosophy and joyful, engaging clinical practice while preparing to become full time classical, certified homeopathic practitioners. As students progress and feel ready, they will be invited to student practice in our Magni-PHI Clinic.
We are delighted to be joined by these talented faculty members who are helping us deliver excellent education based on the growth mindset and spiral learning theories.
Rebecca Beringer, CCH, has been practicing classical homeopathy since 2009. She is based out of Appleton, WI and also serves clients nationally and internationally. In addition to her homeopathy degree and CCH, Rebecca also holds degrees in Anthropology and Religious Studies. Her journey has often landed her in teaching mode that has included homeopathy, wellness, religion, fitness, at-risk youth, etc and she has served on several boards in an educational setting. Her favorite aspect of mentoring and coaching new homeopathic students is meeting them where they are at and supporting the unfoldment of their process.
Noel Peterson, CCH, RSHom (NA), MBA is a board-certified classical homeopath practicing in the Austin, Texas area. He is a former Vice President on the Council for Homeopathic Certification and also served as a board member-at-large for the Minnesota Homeopathic Association. He also attained an Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University to help usher in new forms of healthcare for the 21st century. Noel is a native Minnesotan and currently lives with his wife and three children in Texas.

Attention!
CEU Requirements for NASH Registered Members
All Registered members are required to complete 20 CEU’s for NASH at the time of your renewal. The CEU’s need to occur within the current membership year. CEU’s required for NASH do not carry over to the next year nor do they need to be from only ACHENA accredited schools. Documentation is becoming more and more important; keep track of what educational activities you participate in.
For a complete list of what can be used for CEU’s, click here. If you have questions about your continuing education, please email nashinfo@homeopathy.org.
NOTE: NASH webinars cannot be used towards NASH CEU’s as many have to do with business issues rather than clinical advancement.
