On March 21, 2024 the NASH Mentorship Committee presented on the Mentorship Program. This committee is comprised of Julie Mann, CCH, RSHom(NA), Amy Stueve, CCH, RSHom(NA), and Priya Varughese, CCH who have been working together since the initial pilot program a couple of years ago until today. About the presenters:
Priya Varughese, CCH
Priya has been a homeopathy practitioner since 2017 after graduating from the Academy of Homeopathic Education. Along with her practice, she spends many hours providing support and practice insight to her peers; which includes advanced case taking skills, patient care management, scope of practice and the ethics of practice using her educational background in medicine (MD). She aims to advance the capabilities of the practitioner by fostering a high degree of professionalism.
Julie Mann, CCH, RSHom(NA)
Julie discovered her true passion in the practice of homeopathy over 20 years ago. She trained through the School of Homeopathy in Los Angeles, Lou Klein’s Master Clinician course and years of seminars. She is the founder of the Homeopathic Collective of Los Angeles, better known to the homeopathic community as the “Monday Night Study Group”, where students and practitioners meet each week to study, share knowledge, and consult on cases. As a current Board Member of NASH, she works to define the role of the professional homeopath, as well as furthering research and education in homeopathy as Director of the NASH Foundation. Her past teaching experience includes being on the faculty at The Los Angeles School of Homeopathy, and supervising the homeopathic clinic at the American University of Complementary Medicine. She currently is a Clinical Supervisor at the Academy of Homeopathy Education.
Amy Stueve, CCH, RSHom(NA)
Amy Stueve graduated from Ohio Northern University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. She became a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio and has gained extensive experience working in a variety of pharmacy settings. She began her homeopathic education at The Centre for Homeopathic Education NYC and then Allen College of Homeopathy, International Post Graduate Course. In addition to being certified through the Council of Homeopathic Certification and a Registered Member of NASH, she is a member in good standing with American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists and the American Institute of Homeopathy.
