I am an experienced integrative healthcare practitioner, nationally certified in classical homeopathy. I first learned about homeopathy in 1981 and focused on shelter animals, guided by “Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats.” I later attended the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in San Francisco, graduating as class valedictorian with a 3 year certificate in Foundations of Classical Homeopathy and Acute Homeotherapeutics. I also completed one year of Anatomy and Physiology, and a two-year program in Conventional Medicine for Alternative Practitioners. I began practicing homeopathy in 1995, my work primarily focused on family healthcare and the effects of trauma. I am not a physician and do not diagnose or treat specific diseases; rather, in cooperation with each client’s primary care practitioner, I work holistically to promote health and relieve discomfort of presenting symptoms. This includes counseling about dietary therapies, as needed, and adjunctive homeopathic support of biochemics and gemmotherapy. I practice homeopathy under the California Business and Professions Code sections 2053.5-6, adhering to the professional ethics required by the Council for Homeopathic Certification (www.homeopathicdirectory.com).
I’m also trained as a certified dog trainer, Spiritual Director and SoulCollage® Facilitator, training with founder Seena Frost in 2004 (www.soulcollage.com). Today I am a SoulCollage® Facilitator Trainer and Soul-cial™ Media Coordinator for this international community. SoulCollage® complements homeopathic healing for my clients through developing an awareness of and between-consult support for balancing homeopathic remedy states and Jungian shadow.
I have more than 20 years’ experience in homeopathy, nutrition, lactation, attachment parenting support, meditation and yoga. I qualified from the 4-year professional program at the Irish School of Homeopathy in Dublin, Ireland in 2006 and went on for another year post graduate training.
Since 2006, I ran a busy and diverse family practice in both Dublin and Dundalk working alongside family physicians, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, counselors and other therapists. I have taught numerous courses for local schools and communities, and breast-feeding and mothers’ groups to promote homeopathy and assist others in using remedies for basic health issues, first aid and support through pregnancy, post partum and breast-feeding.
Since 2012, I have supervised 3rd and 4th year students and in 2014 tutored and ran a study group and student clinic for 1st and 2nd year students with the Irish School of Homeopathy.
In August 2017 I moved from Ireland to New York and opened a clinic in Tarrytown. For more information please contact my website at jennifergordonhomeopath.com
My mission statement is “to restore the sick to health”. In 1992 I completed a long and rigorous study and training in homeopathy from a London based school of homeopathy; the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy and the College of Homeopathy USA/ Curentur University. I subsequently finished two, two year intensive programs earning the title Master Clinician. Being committed to homeopathy at the level I am, I was active as a founder in the formation of and administration of an educational institute and on a larger scale.
Because homeopathy is a dynamic system I am continually furthering my studies locally and internationally. Having been in practice for over 25 years I have been honored to study under the world’s most prestigious teachers and practitioners of homeopathy. Currently I am on staff with Luminous Homeopathy Courses.
Originally I established my office in Long Beach and subsequently work from two other offices in Costa Mesa and Los Angeles.
Among some of the prestigious titles I currently hold are; member in the Registered Society of Homeopaths North America (RSHom, NA), Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH), Homeopathic Master Clinician (HMC), registered practitioner in the National Center of Homeopathy (NCH), and diplomat and doctorate in homeopathy (DiHom, DHM), Homeopath, HOM (College of Homeopaths of Ontario)
Using a most basic tenet in homeopathic philosophy, every person is to be treated as an individual, I pride myself in fine case taking in order to understand the state of each person. In my practice the education of each person is of the utmost importance to their path of well being.
My practice is in homeopathy….treating the mind, body, emotions and spirit. I consider myself a traditional homeopath or as many call it, classical homeopath, wherein I work with the tenets and mandates of Samuel Hahnemann. I am happy and willing to speak about homeopathy with anyone who has an interest.
Farah Gron holds the credentials CCH (Certified Classical Homeopath) and RSHom (NA) (Registered with the North American Society of Homeopaths). She began studying homeopathy in 1996 with internationally distinguished homeopath Dr. Luc De Schepper and continued her studies with him until 2012. She started her practice in 2000, and in the spring of 2009 Dr. De Schepper selected Farah to be his successor to continue the care of his clients following his retirement. Farah founded New Life Homeopathy, a classical homeopathy practice, in that same year as she added Dr. De Schepper’s clients to her existing practice.
Farah earned a B.A. from Brandeis University, a Certificate in Homeopathy and subsequently completed a three year advanced study with the Renaissance School of Classical Homeopathy. She is the only practitioner to have completed a two year internship with Dr. De Schepper.
Farah is experienced in helping promote general health and bringing restored health to a wide array of clients including adults and children. She has gained special skills in the care of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders such as PDD-NOS and learning problems. Farah has been trained in CEASE and uses a combination of her method and other trainings such as CEASE to work with children on the spectrum in a gentle and effective way. She uses the water dosing method instead of dry dosing so she can have the most flexibility to adjust each dose for each child’s level of responsiveness and sensitivity.
Homeopathy can bring and maintain the highest level of health and personal fulfillment possible for each person. Farah is committed to creating a strong partnership with each client for this highly individualized approach. All clients are welcome to stay in contact if needed between follow-up appointments to ensure a successful outcome.
Farah lives with her husband and her two children in Newton, MA. She is an organic vegetable gardener and enjoys collecting plants that are used as homeopathic remedies.
