My name is Naira Zakaryan, and I am a medical doctor/homeopath from Yerevan, Armenia, currently lawfully residing in the United States.
I started my medical career at Yerevan’s Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical Institute in 1992 and graduated from Yerevan State Medical University in 1998, completing the full course in the field of “General Medicine” and was awarded with the qualification of a Doctor of General Medicine.
Thereafter, from August 5, 1998 to July 1, 1999, I completed my internship with a CPR certification on the basis of “Emergency Aid” at a scientific medical center (SMC) in Yerevan with the qualification of a general practitioner and a doctor of general medicine.
After three years of working at the N22 polyclinic, I decided to further advance my medical career and was enrolled at the National Institute of Health named after the academician S. Kh. Avdalbekyan and specialized (passed a clinical residency) in the field of Homeopathy at the Chair of Traditional and Alternative Medicine and received a homeopathic doctor qualification.
In 2006, I started working at “Surb Nerses Mets” as well as “Vangard” medical centers, and I am presently working at “Fenix Med” medical center as a therapist homeopath.
I have been a member of the Armenian Association of the International Homeopaths since 2005.
The development of homeopathy in Armenia, as a direction of modern medicine, is connected with the famous German homeopath Mrs. Sabine Zimmermann. In 1994, a homeopathic school was founded in the Erebuni Medical Center, the basis of which was the establishment of the Union of Armenian Homeopaths in 1995.
I have been trained in India, Germany and USA. In India, I have participated in numerous reputable seminars and clinical work studies of renowned Drs. R. S. Pareek and Alok Pareek, father and son healers from India. I have also studied with the world-renowned German pediatrician and homeopath Herbert Pfeiffer and the Swiss homeopath Dario Spinedi.
